The members of each of the Groups complete various activities that help them to better understand environmental issues, learn about shipping and bring them into their first contact with marine sciences.

For certain activities it is essential that a Group, with the help of its Volunteer Teacher, secure the contribution and participation of the Local Authorities and State stakeholders. Public organizations may play a constructive role in the success of the Program simultaneously promoting the environmental consciousness of our country’s state stakeholders, especially in touristic areas.
